Create categories

1 The red numbers in each screenshot match the numbered steps below it. Click a screenshot to open it full size.

1. Open WhatsApp Store → Products and scroll to Categories. Each category has a name, a sort number (1 shows first) and Save changes. ✖ deletes it — its products are kept without a category.
2. Type a new name, e.g. Perfumes, and click Add category.

With 2 or more categories, customers pick a category first. Names can be up to 24 characters (WhatsApp’s limit).
